Tourist guide - Tempio di Romolo

This temple was not dedicated to the founder of Rome, but was erected by the emperor Massenzio for his son Romolo, who died very young in 309. Is a little circular construction, in bricks topped by a dome, which still has its doors in bronze. These lasts ones are original and are providing of a lock with a complex mechanism, which is working yet.
